Franchise Player: Overreaction Monday! Eatin' good, coachin' ball and Ole Miss playoff dreams

Ole Miss is undefeated and ranked inside the Top 10 with a trip to Vanderbilt up next.

So, it's understandable, then, why Franchise Player is considering College Football Playoff scenarios after the No. 9 Rebels (5-0, 1-0 SEC) took care of then-No. 7 Kentucky over the weekend.

If not now, when? It's Overreaction Monday anyway, and Ben Garrett (Ole Miss Spirit/On3) and David Johnson (Inside the Rebels/247) aren't stopping there with some hot Rebel takes as we turn to the final two months of the 2022 season.

Like how Ole Miss has to get its snapping issues resolved. Or why the Lane Kiffin-to-Auburn internet chatter is a whole bunch of nonsense. Plus, early final-score prediction for Saturday, and a brilliant Ole Miss shirt idea (Eatin' Good and Coachin' Ball) is born.

Let's dig in.
