Brutal blow for Ole Miss basketball; mid-year football enrollees on campus

No. 16 Ole Miss basketball on Wednesday suffered a brutal loss at home to No. 13 Texas A&M. The Ole Miss Spirit’s (OMSpirit.com) Ben Garrett and Zach Berry consider the long-term ramifications, as well as set the stage for Saturday at Missouri.

Plus, Rebel football has welcomed its mid-year high-school enrollees. ‘Talk of Champions,’ powered by RiverLand Roofing, is picking potential impact freshmen, among them 4-star linebacker/safety Jarcoby Hopson. Hopson has the positional versatility to slide into a starting role for a needy, revamped Ole Miss defense.
