Ospreay vs Ricochet, 2016 - The Match That Changed The Game

Will Ospreay and Ricochet join to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the match that changed modern professional wrestling – their unforgettable Best of the Super Juniors 2016 classic in Korakuen Hall. They reveal how the match came together, why they never expected it to go viral, what was really happening during that iconic opening sequence, and how one 30-second clip sparked a wrestling debate that still hasn't ended. They share the backstage reaction in New Japan, why the Japanese audience embraced the match, the criticism from Big Van Vader, support from William Regal and Seth Rollins, and how the controversy helped launch both of their careers. Plus, Will Ospreay tells the unbelievable story of finally wrestling Vader after the fallout! The two also explain how they developed their gravity-defying styles, discuss the risks of pushing the limits in the ring, and reveal why fans (and wrestlers) are still talking about this match a decade later.
