Anthony Lister's songs to ground him
A street artist who is celebrated in some cities, arrested in others, Anthony Lister has made a name for himself sharing his dark, paint roller crafted images. Growing up in a fractured family in Brisbane, he would go on to show his work all over the world and be hung on the walls of Geoffrey Rush, Pink and Hugh Jackman. A new documentary about his hectic life is set to premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival, and here he shares the songs that bring him back down to earth. Beastie Boys - "Gratitude" Portishead - "All Mine" The Beatles - "Happiness Is a Warm Gun" Wu-Tang Clan - "I Can't Go To Sleep" Jimi Hendrix - "Hear My Train a Comin'"
