The Baby Boomer Problem

In this week’s episode of Straight Talk, No B.S. with Matthew’s Hope, presented by Imagine Marketing, Pastor Scott and Shelley discuss the growing baby boomer problem.

Learn what factors are causing a significant increase in the number of older Americans finding themselves homeless for the first time and how Matthew’s Hope is having to adapt to serve them. The Moving Forward Program has always been about moving someone towards a life of independence and self-sustainability and often includes learning new skills, going to school for a trade and starting a new career. That is easier said than done if you are in your 60s or 70s.

Each week, Pastor Scott, Shelley and guests share their experiences from operating a homeless outreach in Florida's Orange and Brevard Counties to raise awareness and tackle some of the biggest misconceptions surrounding the homeless crisis in America today.
