Inspiring Civic Engagement

From Straight Talk, No B.S., with Matthew's Hope presented by Imagine Marketing Matthew's Hope and We Are Winter Garden

In Episode 105 of Straight Talk, No B.S. with Matthew’s Hope, presented by Imagine Marketing, Pastor Scott and Tracy are joined by Lee Perry, founder of Lee Perry Strategies LLC to discuss the importance of local politics and getting involved.

They share details of a proposed shelter project in Orlando that was scrapped before it got started in part due to public outrage from people that were poorly informed and fully bought into many of the stigmas and stereotypes this podcast aims to dispel.

Lee shares her experiences from her own civic engagement and encourages viewers and listeners to educate themselves and become involved in their own communities to help impact the change they want to see.

Each week, Pastor Scott, Shelley and guests share their experiences from operating a homeless outreach in Florida's Orange and Brevard Counties to raise awareness and tackle some of the biggest misconceptions surrounding the homeless crisis in America today.
