Straight Fire w/ Jason McIntyre - Does McCaffrey Make the 49ers the Best Team in the NFC? The Lakers Still Can't Shoot + Professional sports bettor Teddy Covers

On today's episode, Jason and Super Producer Rob G (Robert Guerra) kick things off by sharing their thoughts on the blockbuster trade that sent All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers. The guys love the move both in the short-term and long-term With CMC, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle in the fold, it's fair to say that San Francisco has the best set of skill position players in the entire League. The 49ers should be viewed as a lock to make the NFC Championship Game, at a minimum. What's more, with quarterback Trey Lance still on his rookie deal, they should have no problem keeping that talent together moving forward. Moving over the NBA, the guys share a quick thought on the Los Angeles Lakers' loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Lake Show showed considerable improvement from Opening Night, but they still can't shoot a lick. Until that gets solved, it's hard to take them seriously in the Western Conference. Later, professional sports bettor Teddy Sevransky – ‘Teddy Covers’ – swings by to discuss why smart bettors are all-in on the Miami Dolphins against the Pittsburgh Steelers, why he’s confident in the Kansas City Chiefs as road favorites against the San Francisco 49ers*, why oddsmakers still don’t believe in the New York Giants and the New York Jets, why he's a believer in the Atlanta Falcons – at least from a gambling perspective, and much more! Finally, J-Mac closes the show with the NFL Week 7 edition of the Best Bet.

(*Disclaimer – the interview was recorded before McCaffrey was traded to the 49ers)
