Straight Fire - Making Sense of the NFL QB Tiers with The Athletic's Mike Sando

On today’s episode, Jason is joined by The Athletic NFL writer Mike Sando. During the interview, Sando discusses the biggest storylines to come out of his annual QB Tiers survey, including: why a Super Bowl MVP wasn’t enough to push Jalen Hurts up into Tier 1, what made NFL decision makers turn on ‘generational talents’ Trevor Lawrence and Caleb Williams so quickly, why someone like Patrick Mahomes doesn’t need to have a great statistical season to get the benefit of the doubt while someone like Brock Purdy absolutely does, why Michael Penix Jr and Kirk Cousins are ranked so relatively close, and much more!
