Shades of Kobe Bryant in Jayson Tatum + Locked on Lakers podcast host Andy Kamenetzky

On today's episode, Jason kicks things off by sharing his thoughts on Jayson Tatum's 50-point performance in the Boston Celtics' play-in victory over the Washington Wizards. Tatum has a ton of Kobe Bryant to his game, and given what we've seen from him in the postseason the past few years, it's hard to make a case as him being anything lower than the third best player in the NBA right now under the age of 30. He's that good. With Tatum running the show, don't be surprised to see the Celtics put a scare in the Brooklyn Nets in round 1. Later, Jason does a quick breakdown of the rest of the playoff field and explains why he likes the Portland Trail Blazers to upset presumptive MVP Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in round 1. Finally, Locked on Lakers podcast host Andy Kamenetzky swings by to discuss his time covering Kwame Brown in Los Angeles and his overall reaction to Kwame's recent string of social media videos, how concerned Lakers fans should be about LeBron James' ankle injury, why he wouldn't be surprised to see Anthony Davis play most of the play-in game against the Golden State Warriors if he has to, how the Lakers have been able to mostly corral Steph Curry in their 3 regular season meetings this year, why he doesn't view the Utah Jazz or the Phoenix Suns as 'scary' at all given how poorly each team matches up with LeBron and Anthony Davis, the notion that the Los Angeles Clippers tanked to avoid the Lakers early in the postseason and if could actually work out for them, why some Lakers fans are still mad about the team trading away Eddie Jones so they could eventually acquire Kobe Bryant, and much more!
