Judgment Day for Lamar Jackson + FS1 and Turner Sports basketball analyst Jim Jackson

On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a deep dive into the ongoing contract negotiations between Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. If the Dak Prescott saga in Dallas taught us anything, it’s that committing big money to a franchise quarterback is a judgment call. Two years ago, the Cowboys decided that Dak wasn't worth a massive extension; Two years later, they paid for that error in judgment to the tune of $160 million. The Ravens are in a similar boat. Has Lamar Jackson shown enough as a thrower to prove that he's worth $40 million a year? Is Baltimore convinced that his slender frame can handle running the ball as often as he does? Once again, judgment day is coming. Plus, FS1 and Turner Sports basketball analyst Jim Jackson swings by to discuss why sports fans aren't as plugged in to college basketball as they used to be, how the one-and-done system has hurt the college game in some ways, his heartbreaking loss to the Michigan Fab Five, why he wouldn't be surprised to see Gonzaga knocked out of the NCAA Tournament early - even if he is picking them to win it all, the difficulties of calling games during a pandemic, why he hates comparing different eras of NBA basketball, why he agrees that the Boston Celtics are the team best equipped to beat the Brooklyn Nets in the Eastern Conference, what's really ailing the Los Angeles Clippers, the biggest reason why Kobe Bryant had a healthy disdain for Smush Parker back in the day, and much more!
