Tesla Gains, Apple Rises, Citizens Financial Up After 3Q Revenue Beats Estimates
On this episode of Stock Movers:
- Tesla (TSLA) shares gain. Tesla Inc. held a product reveal for its long-delayed Roadster sports car, showcasing a prototype with air thrusters that performed aerial stunts. The vehicle, designed in collaboration with SpaceX, features two seats and a Cybertruck-style steer-by-wire system, and is expected to start production in 2028.
- Apple (AAPL) shares rise. Shipping estimates for Apple Inc.'s iPhone Duo slipped into January within minutes of the company opening preorders on Friday. Apple retail stores ran out of launch-day stock of the iPhone Duo almost instantly after preorders began at 8 a.m. in New York. Securing an iPhone Duo was significantly more difficult compared with the debut of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max in September.
- Citizens Financial (CFG) share gain. Citizens reported revenue of $2.32 billion versus the average analyst estimate of $2.34 billion.
