LVMH Slips, Givaudan Rises, Finnair Soars
Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market.
On this episode of Stock Movers:
- LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton offered a closer look at the deepening Chinese luxury slump this week, revealing that sales on the mainland dropped by double digits in the third quarter while the traditionally high-spending consumer group also pulled back overseas.
- Givaudan shares rise as much as 6.7%, to the highest since July 2025, after the maker of fragrances and flavors reported like-for-like growth that was well ahead of expectations in the third quarter. JPMorgan said this should drive upgrades to EPS expectations.
- Finnair shares jumped after the airline boosted its adjusted Ebit forecast for the full year.
