CoreWeave Drops, Dell Plunges, BNY Gains as 3Q Adjusted EPS Beats Estimates Drops
On this episode of Stock Movers:
- CoreWeave (CRWV) shares fall. CoreWeave Inc.'s co-founder said the company's goal is to get an investment-grade credit rating and gain the privilege of borrowing "unlimited" pools of money. The comments sent global markets into a tailspin, with CoreWeave shares dropping 6% in premarket trading on Thursday and its debt due in 2032 being quoted at about 78 cents on the dollar.
- Dell (DELL) shares plunge. Barclays downgraded Dell, HPE, and NetApp on concerns that enterprise AI adoption is lagging.
- BNY (BNY) gains. The firm posted profit that beat estimates as the firm got a boost from higher rates. Diluted earnings per share in the third quarter were $2.34, a 24% jump from the same period a year earlier, according to a Thursday statement. That came in above the $2.27 estimate from analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.
