- Constellation Energy (CEG) shares are higher on news Google and Constellation Energy announced a long-term deal to bring 890 MW of new nuclear capacity on the PJM grid in Illinois, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
- Biotech stocks took a hit Tuesday, with Vaxcyte, Moderna and Revolution Medicines posting some of the steepest losses. The Medical-Development Biotech industry group toppled, while the revenue-winning biotech group tumbled and the profitable biotechs rose. The end of the year could be a stronger period for biotech stocks, with conferences like the European Society of Medical Oncology meeting giving biopharma companies the chance to present potentially stock-stoking data.
- Marvell Technology (MRVL) shares rise as much as 11%, the most intraday since late August, after the company raised its revenue guidance for fiscal year 2028 to $20 billion, topping the average analyst estimate.
