ASML Rises, Orsted Drops, Galderma Slips
Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market.
On this episode of Stock Movers:
- ASML Holding NV shares rose after the Dutch company said soaring artificial intelligence spending means it’s searching for ways to produce more chip-making machines over the next two years.
- Orsted drops as much as 4.4%, to the lowest since Jan. 21, after the US Justice Department asked a federal court to remand the Interior Department’s approval of a construction and operations plan for the Danish firm’s Revolution Wind project.
- Galderma shares slip as much as 1.5% in early thin-volume trading after the dermatology firm announced it would buy Zo Skin Health for an enterprise value of $1.5b in an all-cash deal that will expand its physician-dispensed US skincare portfolio. While analysts saw the deal as a good fit, Barclays said the multiple was fairly high.
