AB Foods Slides, Porsche Up, Fortum Gains
Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market.
On this episode of Stock Movers:
- AB Foods shares fall as much as 10%, the most since January, after the Primark owner reduced its profit guidance for the Sugar and Grocery divisions. Primark numbers were broadly in line with expectations, while Barclays analysts say plans to offer home delivery are unlikely to move the needle given the lack of detail.
- Porsche said it will generate about €1 billion ($1.16 billion) selling its stake in the venture that owns the Bugatti supercar brand as the German manufacturer tries to become leaner.
- Fortum shares rise as much as 4.5% after a number of brokers upgraded the Finnish energy company, citing a new 22-year power-purchase agreement with Google that will cover up to 50% of the capacity at its Loviisa nuclear plant.
