Fantasy Pump n Dumps Week 7: Best Adds, TE Streamers, Defense Targets, TNF Bets w/ Pete Nova | Stephie Smalls Show (Ep. 163)

Stephie Smalls welcomes fan-favorite Pete Nova (RotoUnderworld, Faceoff Sports Network) for Fantasy Pump n Dumps—your Week 7 waiver wire roadmap plus rapid fire listener Q&A. They open with season surprises (CMC health, Drake Maye’s start, James Cook), then dive into Rashee Rice’s return vs the Raiders and what to actually do with Jets pieces the rest of the season. The Panic Meter hits Saquon Barkley and AJ Brown, then it’s waivers: TE streamers like Cade Otton vs Ron Gadson, why Luther Burden becomes a priority if DJ Moore misses time, and a realistic “sell-high after the breakout” RB conversation. Next up: Bucs WR triage (Shepard vs Tez) and why Otton may be the right add, Rams pass-catchers without full health (Whittington/Atwell vs Higbee), plus another TE streamer with real usage alongside Dylan Gabriel. They also talk stash RB value (Spears), then answer audience questions: RB relevance, start/sits (Jordan Mason, etc.), Jaxson Dart outlook, Maye vs Nix rest-of-season, and desperation WRs. Pete closes with defense streamers (Colts, Falcons, Bears). Producer Ryan jumps in for Extra Holes: his Thursday Night Football card features Jalen Warren anytime TD, Steelers -5.5, Warren rush over, Chase Brown rush under, while Steph backs DK Metcalf receiving and longest-reception overs, Noah Fant receiving over, and a spicy Caleb Johnson 10-to-1 anytime TD. They note an 8–2 run in Circa Millions the last two weeks and look ahead to Thursday’s guest.\ 0:00 Intro 1:50 Season surprises 2:59 Rashee Rice outlook 4:00 Jets rest-season 4:44 Barkley/AJ panic 6:04 Waiver TEs/Burden 8:13 Sell-high breakout RB 9:56 Bucs WRs & Otton 12:13 Rams pass-catchers 13:53 TE streamer follow-up 15:37 Stash RB Spears 17:38 Listener Q&A start 18:09 RB relevance check 18:37 Start/Sit picks 19:42 Jaxson Dart outlook 22:14 Maye vs Nix 23:04 Desperation WRs 23:43 Giants-Broncos talk 33:17 Defense streamers 34:22 Pete’s plugs 36:16 Extra Holes intro 37:28 TNF bets start 41:13 Spicy TD longshot 41:49 Circa record note 👉 Don’t forget to subscribe, rate, and review the podcast!
