Ep.112: Coldplayed CEO

In this episode, Rick and Rudy kick things off with a quick look at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, including highlights from Marvel Studios and recent comments by Kevin Feige about the future of the MCU. The duo dives into the bombshell news of a post–Secret Wars reboot, a streamlined timeline, and the rumored recasting of major heroes like Iron Man and Captain America—will it save the franchise or bury it deeper?

Next up, the guys shift gears to Nintendo’s big live-action Legend of Zelda casting reveal! With Link and Zelda finally announced, Rick and Rudy share their thoughts, hopes, and a few hesitations about the future of this iconic franchise on the silver screen.

But the main event? The absolutely wild and now-viral scandal surrounding the CEO of Astronomer, who was caught having an affair—at a Coldplay concert—on the big screen! We break down the drama, the sheer chaos of the reveal, his awkward public statement demanding “privacy” in a very public moment, and the internet’s hilarious reaction. From the concert crowd’s stunned response to the CEO’s bizarre claims of non-consensual screen time, it’s a story that’s as messy as it is meme-worthy.

Tune in for laughs, hot takes, and a whole lot of side-eye.
