Avengers: Doomsday Trailer | Why Didn't I Feel More Excited?
The first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has finally arrived, and while it looks visually impressive, did it actually live up to the hype?
In this solo Sigma Review, I share my honest reaction to Marvel Studios' biggest film since Avengers: Endgame. We break down the trailer, discuss Doctor Doom's intimidating debut, Thor's return to form, the long-awaited arrival of the X-Men, Loki, Shang-Chi, and what Marvel chose to reveal—and more importantly, what they didn't.
I also dive into the state of the MCU after Endgame, why I don't believe "Marvel fatigue" is the real issue, how the abandoned Kang storyline affected the Multiverse Saga, and whether Doomsday has what it takes to restore the excitement that defined the Infinity Saga. Finally, we discuss Marvel's new Infinity Vision format, the Avengers: Endgamere-release, and why I hope Marvel resists the temptation to reveal too much before the film's release.
Is Avengers: Doomsday the beginning of a new golden era for the MCU, or are we still waiting for Marvel to find its next great direction? Let's talk about it.
