Curtis Sliwa | Candidate, Mayor of New York City | 10-16-25

Curtis Sliwa, Republican nominee in the 2025 New York City mayoral election, joins the program to discuss his Mayoral debate strategy tonight, emphasizing his intention to challenge both Democratic opponents, Andrew Cuomo and Zohran Mamdani, equally. Sliwa critiques their policies, particularly their stance on no cash bail, which he blames for New York City's crime crisis. He also discusses his identity as a law-and-order candidate committed to restoring the city's safety, drawing parallels to Rudy Giuliani's tenure. Additionally, there is a lighter discussion about whether he should wear his iconic beret during the debate. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
