Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld - The Mysteries of the Cross: Why Jesus Died

Who did Jesus die for? Did He descend into hell after He died? From Galatians 6:14, Dr. John Neufeld concludes this series by showing why the Cross stands at the centre of Christian faith and life and explaining how Christ’s death is a free offer to all and a debt truly paid for believers.

The Mysteries of the Cross: Why did Jesus have to die, and what really happened on the Cross? “The Mysteries of the Cross” is a five-message series where Dr. John Neufeld teaches from Scripture on the important and contentious issue of the atonement. He covers the fundamental topics of sacrifice and wrath in the Old Testament, Jesus as our substitute, the doctrine of imputation, how Satan was defeated, and who Jesus died for. Discover why the Cross belongs at the centre of all we believe and how we live. There is no greater thing that we can do than to plumb the mysteries of the Cross!
