DeRozan to Indy? + Jarace & Shep Trade Ideas

Alex Golden and Mike Facci are back with a loaded hour-long episode of Setting The Pace covering the latest NBA news, free agency possibilities and some big-picture Pacers roster questions. The guys open the show discussing the Wizards reacquiring Khris Middleton in a sign-and-trade before reacting in real time as the transaction grows into a massive multi-team deal. Then, Alex and Facci shift their attention to DeMar DeRozan becoming a free agent. Would DeRozan make sense in Indiana? What role would he play, how would he fit with the Pacers’ style and should Indiana seriously consider adding another proven scorer to the roster? From there, the guys have an in-depth conversation about Jarace Walker. They look back at the expectations surrounding him on draft night, how his game has developed over his first three seasons and why there is still plenty of time for Walker to continue growing into the player Indiana hoped he could become. To close the show, Alex and Facci put together potential trade ideas involving Jarace Walker and Ben Sheppard, exploring different ways the Pacers could use their young players to improve the depth and overall construction of the roster. A loaded episode with breaking news, free agency discussion, player development talk and plenty of Pacers trade ideas.
