12: A Steamy Affair Takes A Horrifying Turn

Deep in the heart of Texas, a small suburban town was rocked by a scandalous and brutal murder. Candy Montgomery, a church-going wife, and mother who lived a seemingly normal life, became a name that sends shivers down the spine, synonymous with one of the most gruesome murders in Texas history. Did Candy Montgomery’s intricate web of deceit, lust, and betrayal lead to murder? Was this a calculated move, or was she pushed to the edge in a desperate act of passion and self-defense?

This story has been recently highlighted in two hit series: ‘Candy’ on Hulu and ‘Love & Death’ on HBO Max. In this episode, we will go through the TRUE story of the lives of Candy Montgomery, Pat Montgomery, Betty Gore, and Allan Gore while comparing the similarities and differences between the real series of events and what was scripted.
