From Seeing Red A True Crime Podcast Always True Crime

If you worked for the Bank of England incinerating battered and bruised banknotes that were being taken out of circulation, would you be tempted to take one? Or ten?! What about ten thousand? This is exactly what a crack team of employees did at the Bank of England's incinerator plant at Debden in Loughton, Essex between 1988 and 1992. Demonstrating that there is no 'I' in 'team', this gang of criminals worked together to steal hundreds of thousands of pounds under the noses of supervisors and auditors...

Our second case takes us to a warehouse just outside of Heathrow Airport, where a cache of rare books are being stored before being transported to California. After breaking in, a gang of expert criminals go on to spend five hours and fifteen minutes going through them one by one until they find what they are looking for...
