Texans vs. Bengals Week 2 Recap | Tough Loss in Houston

The Texans fall to 0-2 after a frustrating loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in a game that felt very winnable.

Going live to break down everything from the loss, including C.J. Stroud’s performance, Cincinnati’s defensive line dominating up front, the Texans’ nonexistent run game, questionable playcalling from Nick Caley, special teams issues and an offense that struggled to consistently help its defense.

Defensively, I thought Houston played well enough to win despite allowing a couple of costly explosives. The defense was repeatedly put in difficult situations with Cincinnati starting drives with favorable field position.

We’ll go through the film, stats, biggest takeaways and what this 0-2 start means with another divisional matchup coming next week.
