Jeremy Branham from ESPN Radio & UH Mens Basketball Play-by-Play on Astros & Cougars

From Second Guessan with Stressan: A Houston Texans Podcast Garret Williams aka Houston Stressans, Texanscommenter

What started as a quick, impromptu interview turned into a 30-minute deep dive with Jeremy Branham, co-host of The Killer B’s on ESPN 97.5 and the play-by-play voice of University of Houston Men’s Basketball — and we covered it all.

With MLB Opening Day rosters finalized, Jeremy shared his thoughts on the Kyle Tucker trade and how things look now that rosters are finalized. We also talked about Cam Smith making the Opening Day roster, and whether calling him up early is a smart move or a concern when it comes to club control. Plus, Jeremy gave his take on how José Altuve in left field might work out as the Astros roll with the new lineup.

Then we shifted to March Madness and broke down Houston’s Sweet 16 matchup vs. No. 4 seed Purdue. Jeremy explained how the Cougars match up physically and mentally, and why this squad is built to handle the moment.

We also highlighted UH’s core group:
Joseph Tugler (#11)
J’Wan Roberts (#13)
Milos Uzan (#7)
Emanuel Sharp (#21)
L.J. Cryer (#4)

Plenty of Houston sports talk, tournament insight, and good vibes packed into 30 minutes!
