Takaharu Yabe travelled from Japan to take part in the Sydney Marathon. He lost his hearing at the age of four and has lived with a cochlear implant for the past 30 years. To celebrate that journey and mark a new milestone, he decided to run the marathon in Sydney Australia—a world leader in cochlear implant technology. - 日本からシドニーマラソンに参加したランナー、矢部孝春さん。4歳のときに聴力を失い、以来30年にわたり、人工内耳とともに人生を歩んできました。今回、人工内耳の開発で世界をリードするオーストラリアの地で、その30年の歩みを祝い、新たな節目としてシドニーマラソンを走ることを決意しました。
