Mitsunori Chiba's journey to the top of the bench press world began just six years ago, shortly after he arrived in Australia on a working holiday visa. This May, representing Australia at the IPF World Bench Press Championships in Poland, he won the M1 -83kg title and was named the competition's Overall Best Lifter. - 今年5月、ポーランドで開催されたIPF世界ベンチプレス選手権。オーストラリア代表として出場した日本人選手、千葉満徳さんが、M1 -83kg級で優勝し、大会最優秀選手賞にあたるOverall Best Lifter賞も受賞しました。世界の頂点に立った千葉さんですが、ベンチプレスを始めたのはワーキングホリデーでオーストラリアに来て間もない6年前でした。
