Send us a text JESUS Heals Luke 7 Luke 1:1 Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us, Luke 1:2 just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have delivered them to us, Luke 1:3 it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, Luke 1:4 that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught. Luke 19:9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” John 14: 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 16:24 Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. Luke 11:9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Luke 7:1 ¶ After he JESUS had finished all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum. Luke 7:2 Now a centurion had a servant who was sick and at the point of death, who was highly valued by him. Luke 7:3 When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant. Luke 7:4 And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him, Luke 7:5 for he loves our nation, and he is the one who built us our synagogue.” Luke 7:6 And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Luke 7:7 Therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. Luke 7:8 For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” Luke 7:9 When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” Luke 7:10 And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well.
