Regional Media Movie Review: Sean Kernan Reviews Digger

Film critic Sean Kernan spotlights Diggers this week on Friday at the Movies across the Hog Country Radio Network. The film stars Tom Cruise as Digger Rockwell, a billionaire oil baron facing the fallout from a massive economic and environmental disaster tied to his drilling empire. Kernan calls the movie loud, messy, strange, and fascinating, comparing its climate-change satire to Dr. Strangelove. He says Cruise delivers one of the strongest performances of his career, with enough force to enter the Oscar conversation. Kernan also teases a major twist audiences won’t see coming.
