The Parable of the Wedding Banquet

In this message, taken from Matthew 22:1-14, we examine the parable of the wedding banquet. Jesus designed this parable to rebuke the leadership of Israel for not coming to faith. He also uses the parable to show that Israel's leadership will be replaced by others who do come to faith and bear fruit. We also learn that the only way any person can be compatible with God's great Messianic Banquet, is to be properly clothed in wedding garments. We show how the "wedding clothes" symbolize being clothed in Christ by faith alone.
