Ep. - 1606 - INSIDE ESPN’S “THE PICK IS IN” WITH PATRICK HARRIS

Patrick Harris, director of ESPN's The Pick Is In, joins the show to pull back the curtain on one of the most ambitious behind-the-scenes documentaries in sports television. Produced by NFL Films and Skydance Sports and premiered on ESPN on May 3, this year's edition embedded film crews inside the draft rooms of the Las Vegas Raiders, Cleveland Browns, and Dallas Cowboys across all seven rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft, capturing real-time trade negotiations, prospect debates, and franchise-shaping decisions as they happened. Patrick walks us through what it actually takes to earn that level of access, and the trust-building required before a single camera rolls.
