#423 Makai Elías Calles - What Really Happens When You Die?

Zuby is joined by health journalist at the Epoch Times and filmmaker Makai Elías Calles to discuss his new documentary Final Hour, a deep dive into the phenomenon of near-death experiences. Trained as a scientist Makai shares how interviewing people who died and came back forced him to confront cases that shouldn't be scientifically possible, including a Harvard neurosurgeon with an offline neocortex who returned with a fully lucid memory. The conversation covers cross-cultural NDE patterns, the strange choice to come back, why survivors often come back depressed, the concept of vertical perception, whether plants might have memory and much more.
