#331 John Rich - True American Patriotism
John Rich is an American country musician and singer-songwriter. He started his professional career as a member of the group 'Lonestar' and found mainstream success as one half of the country duo 'Big & Rich', alongside Big Kenny. He has written and produced songs for many other artists including Taylor Swift, Faith Hill, and Jason Aldean.
John shares his early childhood and the influence his pastor father had. Zuby and John discuss liberalism and the changing political landscape in the USA, how patriotism is ‘narrowing’, and the recent rise in religiosity among some atheists. John also shares his insights on developing courage, being a father, the state of the world post-Covid, and more.
