When the Ticking Finally Stopped | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC

He was still a child when his grandfather died, and the loss hit him hard.

Not long afterward, while staying at his grandmother’s old family home, he heard something in the kitchen and saw a faint figure moving through the hallway. It looked exactly like his grandfather.

Years later, another encounter felt even more personal. This time, the figure came close enough to touch him and seemed to move through the house as though checking on the family one last time.

Then something strange happened to an old pocket watch his father had inherited. It had continued ticking long after it should have stopped.

Two days after that final encounter, it went silent—and never worked again.
