They Saw the Ghost Before They Knew the Story | Real Ghost Stories

During military maneuvers one cold December night, two soldiers noticed something strange moving through the trees: a faint blue mist that slowly began to take shape.

By the time it reached the edge of the woods, they could make out the unmistakable outline of a man on horseback.

Months later, they encountered something similar again—but this time, there was no mist and no question about what they were looking at.

They never knew who the rider was or why he seemed to be wandering those grounds.

Then, sometime later, an older man asked them a strange question about a cavalryman who had supposedly died there years before.

Suddenly, the rider they had seen twice had a possible name.
