The Ring Refused to Be Changed | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC

A self-employed jeweler agreed to redesign an inherited diamond and sapphire ring, replacing its worn, old-fashioned band with something better suited to its new owner. That night, she dreamed of a stern older woman dressed in black Victorian clothing. By morning, her sketches were scattered across the floor.

When she returned to the designs, she heard her boyfriend call her from another room—even though he was outside—and came back to find her sketchbook thrown into a corner.

The following morning, her hidden safe stood open, its contents scattered and the ring carefully placed beside her laptop. Then pounding at the locked studio door drew her away from her workbench moments before invisible hands shoved her from behind.

She promised not to alter the ring, but its owner later took it to two other jewelers. Neither of them was able to escape its warning.
