The Ghost in the Family Tree | Real Ghost Stories

For generations, the same family has lived beside a cabin built on land they have owned since 1836. One night, two boys camping nearby saw a child’s face watching them from an upstairs window—one positioned far too high for any child to reach.

His great-grandmother knew exactly who they had seen. Her little sister used to climb onto a dresser to look through that window.

She died when she was six.

He kept the story away from the younger children, determined not to frighten them or influence their imaginations. But years later, his nephew began seeing a little girl in the same window. Then his skeptical brother encountered her inside the cabin. Now the youngest children appear to speak with her.

The family has grown through generations. Is his great-grandmother’s little sister still living among them?
