He Bumped into a Dead Man | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC

Working late at a century-old Dallas hotel wasn't unusual for an account manager whose company helped clean up after large events. He knew many of the overnight employees, so when he encountered a familiar waiter coming down a narrow stairway after a wedding, there was nothing particularly strange about it.

The man seemed distracted and didn't respond when spoken to, but it had been a long night. They even bumped shoulders as they passed.

Minutes later, he casually asked the other employees what was wrong with their coworker. The room went silent.
One woman crossed herself. Others stared at him in disbelief.

Because the man he'd just encountered in that stairwell hadn't worked the wedding that night. In fact, he hadn't worked anything for the past two weeks.
