Are You Dead Yet?’ — The Voice That Drove a Teen from Her Own Home | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC!

It began with an unsettling presence in the upstairs bathroom. Every time the storyteller showered, she sensed a young girl with long black hair clutching a knife silently standing beside the tub. The girl never moved, only appeared when the storyteller’s eyes were closed — a vision so vivid she showered with the curtain half-open, terrified to turn her back.

The entire house carried a heavy, anxious energy. Footsteps pounded up and down the stairs at night. Shadows darted across doorways and stood in the open closet. An old man’s apparition was often seen leaning over her baby brother’s crib, waking him with terrified screams.

The most unforgettable encounter happened one afternoon while sitting at the family computer: a female voice drifted from the stairs asking, “Are you dead yet?” Convinced she was alone, she grabbed her things and fled outside, sobbing as she called her mother.

Decades later, the memories remain: the haunted bathroom, the voices, the faceless figures in the hall. Was it the land, the house itself, or something tied to her family’s troubled past?
