2931: MINE ACTION WEEK: A Safe Future for South Sudan’s Children

As part of our continued efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of landmines, cluster munitions, and other explosive ordnance in South Sudan, the Miraya Breakfast Show focuses on the safety of children ahead of the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action on April 4th. Embracing this year’s theme, "Safer Futures Start Here," UNICEF Young Reporters, Agot Alier and Stephen Giir help us explore the risks explosive ordnance poses to children, how young peer educators are working to spread awareness, and what schools, families, and communities can do to keep children safe.
