14 May – Laughter Therapy – From Matar Paneer Jokes to Heartfelt Melodies

Wednesday’s Laughter Therapy on Radio Haanji 1674 AM was all kids, all energy — and this one had everything. Hosts Ranjodh Singh and Krishna Bhardwaj took calls from young listeners who came ready with Punjabi teegs, classic Pappu jokes, a sher about a husband’s salary disappearing into a saree, and one girl named Mannat who showed up with a song she actually wrote herself. Teeg kicked things off with a Punjabi riddle about ਕਪਾਹ (cotton), Arnab gave us a clever one about a road that goes everywhere without moving, Ashleen asked about window blinds, and Tavneet closed the riddle round with a river that runs but never walks. On the jokes side, Yuvraj’s Pappu told his teacher he was vegetarian and asked to be made matar paneer instead of murga — the logic was airtight. Renaz dropped a perfectly timed sher about a wife’s new saree costing a full salary, Fateh had Pappu handing a Hajmola to a beggar with a full stomach, and Mannat’s Tina ended a whole domestic argument by calling her husband a kaddu. Then Mannat performed her original song, Meri Maa, Mera Pita — an emotional tribute to parents with AI-generated music — and reminded everyone why this show is worth tuning into every single week. #LaughterTherapy #RadioHaanji #PunjabiPodcast #PunjabiPodcastAustralia #IndianRadioAustralia #PunjabiRadioMelbourne #BestPunjabiPodcast #PunjabiKids #PunjabiJokes #PunjabiRiddles #HaaanjiCommunity #PunjabiCommunityAustralia #IndianCommunityMelbourne #1674AM #MeriMaaMeraPita
