Adam Blackstone

This week, R&B Money hosts the virtuoso of soul, Adam Blackstone. A multi-talented artist, he's not just a bassist but a songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and arranger with a gift for tapping into the essence of each song he works on. Before he was a household name working with Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Drake, Kanye, Jay-Z, and Janet Jackson, Adam grew up in New Jersey surrounded by music, inspired by his church organist father to pursue music direction. But the journey wasn't easy, grinding and playing any gig that came his way, including birthdays and bar mitzvahs until he moved to Philly and met the Roots. In this episode, Adam shares his journey and the importance of musical theory. Get ready for an inspiring ride with a sorcerer of sound, Adam Blackstone, on The R&B Money Podcast
