Blood or Obedience? — Matatiyahu 12 and the True Household of YAHUAH | Podcast Episode

From Promote The Truth Podcast Promote The Truth

In this episode, we go deep into Matatiyahu (Matthew) 12 and examine the defining statement of Yahusha (YAHUAH Mashiyha):

“Who is my mother? Who are my brothers...?”

With that question, YAHUAH Mashiyha redraws the boundaries of family. The answer is clear — those who do the will of YAHUAH are His true family.

This teaching explores:

YAHUAH Mashiyha as Master of the Shabat
What obedience to Shabat reveals about loyalty and authority
The serious warning of causing little ones to stumble (Mat 18 connection)
“A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand” applied to marriage and household leadership
Hard conversations around work schedules, school on Shabat, and structured obedience
Why compromise disguised as convenience weakens spiritual order

This is not a surface-level discussion. It is a call to examine whether our homes are governed by culture, employment, and pressure — or by YAHUAH’s Commandments.

Family is not determined by proximity or biology. It is established through obedience.

If YAHUAH Mashiyha is Master of the Shabat, then His authority must shape our schedules, our parenting, our marriages, and our priorities.

This episode challenges listeners to stop negotiating with compromise and to build households anchored in the will of YAHUAH.
