Is the US Empire collapsing? (Full Debate) | Joti Brar

Proletarian TV | 24 October 2026 Comrade Joti Brar speaks on the 'Collapse of US Empire'? (Full Panel Debate) | Live at Beautiful Days In this wide-ranging talk and Q&A, Joti Brar (CPGB-ML) explains that the wars we see today are fronts in a single global war: a desperate bid by Anglo/American imperialism to reboot its crisis-ridden economy and hold onto dominance at the expense of the world's people. The lesson of Iran, like Korea and Vietnam before it, is that an organised, resilient and ideologically united people cannot be defeated. Main topics discussed - Has Iran broken the US empire? – The parasitic West. Production for profit means the West makes nothing; billions refusing exploitation is shaking the system. Divide and rule, Immigration, culture wars: manufactured outrage designed to set workers against each other . Unity with whom? The Labour Party and social democracy are the enemy's tools inside our movement. Real unity means unity against the system. – Israeli Zionism and oil. Israel exists to guard Middle East oil – "Aren't all systems the same?" Anti-communist propaganda exists to make us fear our own strength. Socialism = working-class control, producing for need not profit. Climate. Climate problems have can’t be fixed by capitalism. Remove the system and the solutions follow.
