HIVE Digital Technologies reports record Q1 results with all-time revenue, net income, and EBITDA

Hive Digital Technologies Executive Chairman Frank Holmes joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share the company’s financial and operational results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025. The quarter marked a milestone period for HIVE, with the company delivering record-breaking performance across its Bitcoin mining and high-performance computing businesses. Fueled by a 45% sequential increase in average hashrate and robust operational execution, HIVE posted all-time highs in revenue, net income, and Adjusted EBITDA, further reinforcing its status as a key player in the global Bitcoin mining and data center ecosystems. During the quarter, HIVE mined 406 Bitcoin, representing a 33.7% sequential increase, supported by a 47.5% rise in hashrate. Financially, the company reported record revenue of $45.6 million, net income of $35.0 million, and Adjusted EBITDA of $44.6 million. HIVE ended the quarter with a strong balance sheet, holding $71.9 million in cash and digital currencies, a position management believes provides the flexibility to advance growth initiatives while maintaining financial resilience. The company also saw continued momentum in its Buzz HPC business, which generated record revenue of $4.8 million, up 59.8% sequentially. This was achieved against direct costs of $2.1 million, highlighting both strong demand in the high-performance computing market and the scalability of HIVE’s diversified operations. Looking ahead, HIVE remains firmly on track to achieve its target of 25.0 EH/s by U.S. Thanksgiving, which would place the company among the world’s largest Bitcoin miners. This follows the company’s rapid growth to 15.0 EH/s by the end of July, translating into an annualized Bitcoin mining revenue run rate of approximately $315 million, based on prevailing Bitcoin prices, network hashrate, and block rewards.
