HIVE Digital grows Bitcoin production 138% YoY, targets 25 EH/s with Valenzuela launch

Hive Digital Technologies Executive Chairman Frank Holmes joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s September 2025 production results and progress on the commissioning of its Phase 3 Valenzuela facility. HIVE reported the production of 267 Bitcoin for the month — representing an 8% increase month-over-month from August’s 247 BTC and a 138% increase year-over-year compared to 112 BTC in September 2024. This equates to an impressive average of 9 Bitcoin mined per day. During September, HIVE’s Hashrate averaged 19.4 exahash per second (EH/s), peaking at 21.7 EH/s, with a fleet efficiency of 18 joules per terahash (J/TH) and productivity of 13.8 BTC per EH/s. As of early October, the company’s global Bitcoin mining fleet totals 21.8 EH/s, powered entirely by renewable hydroelectric energy. With additional ASIC miners scheduled to go online in the coming weeks, HIVE remains on track to reach 25 EH/s by U.S. Thanksgiving, targeting an improved average efficiency of 17.5 J/TH. Holmes highlighted that the 100 MW Phase 3 Valenzuela facility is now entering its final stages of commissioning. Civil works have been completed, hydro containers are fully installed, and the control center is operational. The next phase focuses on energizing and integrating new ASIC units into live production, which will provide a further boost to HIVE’s hashrate and operational efficiency.
