24: Anna and the King with Jessica Ellis

Did you know the beloved Rogers and Hammerstein musical “The King and I” was based on a true story? And that in 1999 they made a live action, epic historical drama about said true story? And that the movie based on the true story starred Jodie Foster and Chow Yun-Fat? And that this obvious Oscar play based on a true story was only nominated for two minor Oscars? And that the true story had no songs and a ritual beheading? And that the Thai government banned the filming of the true story movie in Thailand because it probably wasn’t true?! Join Phil, Kenny and filmmaker and twitter superstar Jessica Ellis as they spend half the episode discussing the probably-not-true story of Anna and the King of Siam and the other half on, for some reason, Star Wars!
