161: True Crime w/ Norm Wilner

Few directors have been able to reach the heights AND depths that film veteran Clint Eastwood has in his 60 years of filmmaking, and we brought on writer Norm Wilner (NOW Toronto) to discuss every up, and every down, via Eastwood's painfully tepid mystery/drama TRUE CRIME.We discuss Eastwood's endless history of being torn apart by critics, only to come back with a career defining, box office hit, and his complicated relationship to the republican party and race relations. Furthermore, how does a man who looked so good in his prime deal with the fact that he's aging? Well, it DEFINITLEY gets put on the screen in very bizarre ways.Grit your teeth, swallow a fistfull of gravel, and get ready to step into the mind and career of one of the most fascinating directors of all time.
