Is Suns' Starting Lineup Their Biggest STRENGTH Or WEAKNESS In Upcoming Season?

The Phoenix Suns’ busy offseason included a major trade that saw them acquire Miles Bridges from the Charlotte Hornets in a three-player deal. In acquiring Bridges, it is believed the Suns’ starting lineup will feature him alongside Devin Booker, Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and Mark Williams, who re-signed with the franchise this offseason.

Although the starting lineup seems easy to predict, is it a strength or weakness for the team in 2026-27? Much has been made of “Point Book” and his backcourt chemistry with Jalen Green, but there are also questions of Khaman Maluach’s readiness to assume a bigger role, and Williams’ ability to play a consistent role given his well-documented durability issues. Phoenix boasts considerable depth, but how much does that help in the grand scheme when rotations get tighter?

Today’s PHNX Suns show sees Gil and Stephen talk through the strengths and weaknesses of the starting unit while projecting what things may look like moving forward. Follow the show: @PHNX_Suns, @ErikRuby, @GilMcGregor_, @StephenPG3 and @FreckledMamba!
